Breakfast was outstanding Best nights sleep ever Attentive staff Superb location
Friendliness of staff, nothing was to much trouble .
I have stayed at this Hotel a number of times, always on business. The hotel staff are all friendly, efficient and polite. The breakfasts are lovely and an excellent choice is provided. I have always felt comfortable in the many rooms I have occupied. I am considering coming with my daughter for a short break, so that I can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
A really comfortable hotel in a lovely place. Early breakfast for early checkout was no problem.
Stayed in a 'premier' room - wonderful sea view - ring first to check though, as there are some at the back of the hotel. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful. Excellent, reasonably-priced evening meal in the adjoining pub. Good breakfast choice.
One small thing - the lady in the bar was very precious about where we sat for our late-morning coffee, informing us that the sea-view window tables were 'set up for lunch' and we must sit elsewhere. These tables had not been booked, they merely had cutlery and napkins, and both remained unoccupied for the next hour since the bar was almost empty...
I was looking for a hotel and a room with a sea view and the location was perfect. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and the staff in the restaurant very nice. The room was lovely and clean.
The lack of social skills of some of the reception staff.
Staff warm and friendly. Rooms very good in old part of hotel and new wing. Wonderful sea views from front of hotel rooms. Ideal location for our walking holiday. Lots of parking. Breakfast very good.Evening meals in either hotel dining room or in attached pub good. Received a room upgrade on arrival without asking.
It has lovely sea views and a very short walk to the beach. Golf courses are close by and the town is nearby too. An ideal position. Very friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We appreciated the welcome call a few minutes after finding our room, where the reception checked that everything was ok with the room - there was no soap, but a lady came straight up to the room with this right away. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable and our view was lovely of the sea. Conservatory for the guests was our prime reason for choosing this hotel. Lovely.
Our stay at the hotel was very good, all in all. However, we did find the staff were a little blunt and appeared very fed up in their jobs. I think this hotel would benefit from offering training in communication and people skills or by organising a team event, as the overall service was very good, but the indivuals appeared unsatisfied or fulfilled in their roles...We dined in the hotel restaurant on our first night, but did not enjoy the food at all, plus, the next day we were unable to enjoy the lounge and conservatory, due to private functions. This was very upsetting, considering we were unable to watch the sunset from the conservatory, which we had paid to use and this was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel...We dined at The Mariners next door, where both the food and the service was excellent. This was one wonderful evening we will never forget. Also, the television cupboard obscured the view in the rooms and the cars parked inbetween the lounge and the sea could be imrpoved.
The hotel was in easy reach of Hunstanton shops, just a short walk along the coastal path, yet sufficiently far enough away to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the hotel and unhampered view of the sea.The staff were friendly and courteous at all times, making my stay very enjoyable. On the basis of my first visit to Le Strange Arms Hotel I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
The hotels location is fabulous, close to the beach, rooms with lovely sea views and very central for touring Norfolk.
There was nothing I did not like about the hotel
Very pleased with our first stay at this hotel and hope to stay again. Particularly liked the character of the rooms and hotel in general, it is nice that there is an individuality in the rooms, unlike some hotels. Also, standards are very good. There are good facilities that helped make this a relaxing stay. Pleased too that there was a good vegetarian choice for breakfast and healthier options. I was at Hunstanton to give a talk to a local wildlife group and rather stressed when I arrived, everything at the hotel helped make me relax and enjoy my stay.
Attractive coastal setting with excellent service and facilities.
Sea view with lots of birds good pub restaurant on site famous cliff geology close to town
No lift for hotel extension
